TBGHealth is dedicated to providing quality brain injury rehabilitation services to individuals who meet the following admission criteria:

All prospective residents must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be diagnosed with an acquired or including traumatic brain injury
• Be medically stable
  • For those with Substance Abuse or Alcohol Abuse issues: must be sober for a period of at least 60 days prior to admission (as determined by a pre-admission urine drug screen)
• Be ambulatory or, if in a wheelchair, able to independently transfer to bed, chair, toilet, and shower chair
• Be free from behaviors that require hands-on restraint or redirection
• Be continent of bowel and bladder
• Be interested in receiving support and habilitation/rehabilitation services
• Be able to self-administer medication with no more than staff supervision and support
• Be willing to participate in a structured activity during daytime hours (Mon - Fri, 9 am  -3 pm) such as a Structured Day Program, volunteer activities, paid employment, or educational pursuits.

All persons referred will be interviewed and evaluated for appropriateness and interest by the TBGHealth Clinical Team. Persons referred are not guaranteed placement and may be rejected for any reason by TBGHealth.
